2. HEADLINES, LINKS AND SOURCES
Headlines, posts, articles and videos belong to their publishers and creators. We show a source's own headline and link to the original. To read the full story, follow the link to the publisher's site.
Bias and coverage ratings come from Ground News where available, and describe outlets, not individual stories. Earthquake markers are live feeds from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Market numbers come from public market data (Yahoo Finance chart data) and crypto prices from CoinGecko and Coinbase; they may be delayed. World map shapes are from Natural Earth via the world-atlas project. Video thumbnails are shown from YouTube.
The "chaos level" is an automatic estimate from headline keywords, not a judgment. Inner-Earth and Hyperborea pins are labeled lore, not live news. Ratings are TRUE · FALSE · GREY, and every fact links to its source: facts over opinion.
Showing a source or account is not an endorsement of that source, person, business or position.

We work to keep everything accurate, but information may be delayed, incomplete, out of date or wrong, and sources can change or go offline. Always check the original source.

5. PRIVACY
The ticker has no accounts, no ads and no analytics trackers, and it does not ask for your location. It keeps a few small settings on your device only (for example which countries' stories you've already seen).
Like most websites, our server keeps standard web logs (your IP address, the page requested and your browser type) to run and protect the site. Your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts and earthquake data directly from the USGS, and opens YouTube, Ground News and publisher links when you click them; those services receive normal web requests under their own privacy policies.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent the law allows, Maverick Music and Media and its owners are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind that comes from using, or not being able to use, the site or anything shown on it, including information from third-party sources. Your only remedy if you're unhappy with the site is to stop using it.
7. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Ellis County, Texas.
8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
